  I believe Edward and Jane are the Browns who emigrated to America and a e found in the 1900 census of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. If so, this is her obituary: Mrs. Jane Brown, wife of Edward Brown, an esteemed resident of this cit y, died early this morning after a week's illness, at her home, Main st eet, aged 41 years. Mrs. Brown was born in England and came to this co untry 16 years ago, at once taking up her residence in Watertown. She w as a member of the Church of the Redeemer, and a devout Christian woman w ho won the respect of a large circle of friends. Besides her husband Mr s. Brown is survived by the following sons and daughters: George, Edwar d E., Robert L., Martha A.. Wallace N.. Charles E.. John J., and Jane E . Brown, all of this city. Burial will be made at North Watertown cemet ery Feb 1905 Watertown Daily Times
